The Mexican Immigration Institute presented their new fees\u00a0for 2014; these are valid starting January 1st 2014:<\/div>\n

  • Temporary Resident Card\n
      \n
    • One year $3,243 pesos<\/li>\n
    • Two years $4,859 pesos<\/li>\n
    • Three years $6,154 pesos<\/li>\n
    • Four years $7,294 pesos<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n
    • Permanent Resident Card: $3,953 pesos<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n
      In case the card is stolen or gets lost the cost to get a new one is $1,040 pesos, for any type of card, it does not vary if it is temporary or permanent.<\/div>\n

      • Paperwork review: $1,036 pesos – this amount is paid when the applicant is requesting a change of resident status or if the card is expired when the renewal process begins.<\/li>\n
      • Exit permit: $332 pesos – this amount is paid when the applicant is requesting a permit to leave the country while his application is still in process.<\/li>\n
      • Work permit: $2,435 pesos \u00a0– this amount is paid when a tourist or a temporary resident wants to engage in lucrative activities.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
